Il celebre pittore e scultore scandinavo Per Kirkeby apre il suo studio di Copenaghen alla regista Evelyn Schels e ci aiuta a comprendere meglio il suo processo creativo. Il film ci mostra l'artista al lavoro e ci conduce sulla piccola isola danese di Læsø, dove il pittore lavora a grandi dipinti e sculture in bronzo, traendo forza dalla sua condizione di solitudine, immerso nella natura. The famous Scandinavian painter and sculptor Per Kirkeby opens his Copenaghen studio to the film’s director Evelyn Schels and provides insight into his creative process. The film shows the artist at work and also to his studio on the tiny Danish island of Læsø, where he works on paintings and large bronze sculptures, drawing strength from his solitude in nature. Per Kirkeby is also a poet and a writer and he talks about how important writing is for the development of his art.
