Edward Hopper, celebre artista americano associato al movimento della pittura realista, è una delle figure artistiche più influenti del XX secolo. L'olandese Johannes Vermeer è riconosciuto come il grande maestro del Secolo d'Oro. Pur essendo separati da tre secoli, entrambi gli artisti offrono uno sguardo unico sull’umanità, ritraendo la solitudine di individui confinati nei loro spazi privati. Edward Hopper, the renowned American artist associated with the Realist painting movement, is one of the most influential artistic figures of the 20th century. Johannes Vermeer is recognized as the great master of the 16th century. Despite being separated by three centuries, both artists offer a unique perspective on humanity, depicting the solitude of individuals confined in their private spaces. Annie Dautane è una regista e produttrice francese che si occupa di film, video musicali e scenografie visive per spettacoli e concerti. Da sempre attenta all’arte, nel 2012 ha fondato la casa di produzione Calm che si dedica a film e progetti con contenuti creativi innovativi. Tra il 2020 e il 2021, per France Télévisions, ha diretto la serie di documentari sulla pittura Connexions, vincendo numerosi premi in Francia e all'estero. Nel 2022, il film Rothko X Monet ha fatto parte dell'omonima mostra al Musée des Impressionistes di Giverny. L’anno successivo, Banksy X Géricault è stato proiettato al Municipio di Parigi per la mostra Capitales 60 ans d'art urbain.
