Alla fine del 2015, alla Monnaie di Parigi, è stata realizzata la mostra Take Me (I’m Yours). Le opere esposte non sono in vendita, ma sono a disposizione dei visitatori del museo, che ne approfittano con entusiasmo, riempendo i sacchetti distribuiti all’ingresso. In questa tappa parigina della leggendaria mostra Take me (I’m Yours), realizzata nel 1994 dall’artista Christian Boltanski e dal curatore Hans Ulrich Obrist, i visitatori sono espressamente invitati a toccare, prendere, mangiare o bere le opere, invece di contemplarle solamente. Possono tastarle, provarle o anche portarsele via. Dalle cartoline di Hans-Peter Feldmann, alle bolle d’aria di Yoko Ono, dalle caramelle di Felix Gonzales-Torres, alle pillole misteriose di Carsten Höller, alla cabina fotografica di France Vaccari. Senza dimenticare una passeggiata sull’Ile de la Cité in compagnia di un’opera d’arte a quattro zampe, da prendere in prestito...
Dal 31 ottobre 2017 il progetto espositivo approderà all'Hangar Bicocca di Milano.

The Paris Mint, late 2015. As time goes by, the museum halls at the Take Me (I’m Yours) exhibition empty out. The works on display are not for sale, but are offered to the museum-goers, who help themselves enthusiastically, filling shopping bags that are distributed at the entrance. In this Parisian chapter of the legendary Take me (I’m Yours) exhibition, created in 1994 by artist Christian Boltanski and curator Hans Ulrich Obrist, visitors are explicitly invited to touch, take away, eat or drink the works, instead of contemplating them passively. They can handle them, sample them or simply walk off with them. From Hans-Peter Feldmann’s postcards to Yoko Ono’s Parisian air bubbles, from Felix Gonzales-Torres’s candies to Carsten Höller’s enigmatic pills, to Franco Vaccari’s photo booth. Not to mention a stroll on the Ile de la Cité in company of a four-legged work of art, to be borrowed...
On 31 October 2017 the exhibition will be inaugurated at Hangar Bicocca in Milan.

nato a Colonia nel 1954, è regista e critico d'arte. Ha scritto per le riviste ART Kunstmagazin, Lettre International, ZEIT e ha pubblicato molti libri su artisti come Georg Baselitz, Jannis Kounellis, Markus Lüpertz e saggi come Scandals in Art; Art after Ground Zero o Cinema and Art, una riflessione sul rapporto tra arte contemporanea e Hollywood. I suoi film su Georg Baselitz, Rebecca Horn, Bruce Nauman, Alex Katz, Christian Boltanski sono stati presentati in varie retrospettive in tutto il mondo. Attualmente sta lavorando a un film su Georg Baselitz. È fondatore e direttore artistico del Festival di Monaco Kino der Kunst. A Istambul ha curato diverse mostre per la Dirimart Gallery. Vive tra Colonia e Parigi.
