Due grandi mostre di Miquel Barceló, alla Biblioteca Nazionale di Francia e al Museo Picasso di Parigi, ci offrono l’opportunità di approfondire il lavoro dell’artista spagnolo. I suoi lavori imponenti, realizzati con la terra in tutte le sue forme, vengono creati in loco e avranno una vita effimera. Nel film seguiamo passo dopo passo tutto il processo creativo e vediamo le opere a poco a poco prendere forma mentre l’artista si racconta e ci apre al suo mondo interiore.

Two major exhibitions by Miquel Barceló, at the National Library and at the Musée Picasso in Paris, are an opportunity to delve into the work of the Spanish artist. These imposing works made with the earth in all its forms, are created on spot and will have an ephemeral life. It is then the process of creation that is revealed little by little through the making of these generous works, as well as the inner world of the artist who comes to us.
Christian Tran è ingegnere del suono e regista. Dal 2002 al 2006 ha realizzato documentari a sfondo sociale come L’école en campagne; Poste restante; Le temps de l’urgence, presentati e premiati in vari festival. Dal 2008 affronta argomenti più legati alla creatività come in Picasso et Sima, le modeleur d’amitié; La grotte Chauvet: si loin, si proche; Les jénies de la grotte Chauvet. È parte attiva del collettivo Artis creato nel 1992 e formato da una decina di operatori con competenze diverse in vari campi quali fotografia, tecnica del suono, arti grafiche, regia.
